Software by Roberto Barumerli¶
This site collects the open-source code I publish on GitHub: Python and C packages for modelling spatial hearing, the code behind my papers, teaching material and the odd hardware project. Everything listed here is public and can be cloned, forked and reused under the licence stated for each repository.
For the story behind the models, publications and the blog, see my personal website and its curated software portfolio.
Where to start¶
A Python package that simulates human directional sound localisation
from an individual HRTF and fits listener-specific noise parameters by
maximum likelihood. pip install bayesian_listener.
A fast shoebox room-acoustics simulator in C that renders binaural room impulse responses with any HRTF stored in the SOFA format. Command-line tool with a MATLAB interface.
Notebooks and scripts that reproduce the figures and analyses of my recent papers and workshop contributions.
C examples for the Fondamenti di Informatica course, and a KiCad design for a Eurorack power busboard.
All public repositories¶
Badges are generated live by shields.io from the GitHub API, so stars and activity are always current.
